Dear Ms Bryant, I felt I had to reply to your letter to the Editor of April 25th regarding the missing portraits of King Charles. These official portraits some times take a short while to be made available to the public buildings.

Essentially, municipalities under confederation were considered akin to provincial government 鈥渇ranchises鈥� in modern day parlance.

鈥淚 love paying my taxes.鈥� Long ago a man working on my well told me this when I was grumbling about my property tax bill. I have been thinking about this ever since. He did not explain.

Dear Sir or Madam, This article ("The King's portrait still not in City Hall or the Legion," Mar.14 edition 琉璃社区 ) is very upsetting, very bias, tainted with personal opinion and VERY little documented research is evident.
